Not too long ago the Restoration of America’s Wire Act failed to get much attention in Congress. However, the persistence of those behind the bill is never ceasing as once again it is being submitted to Congress. If it is successful, it could affect the gaming based in New Jersey, Delaware and Nevada.

This time the anti-gambling bill is being submitted by Utah Representative Jason Chaffetz. It is more than a likelihood that online gambling will become illegal in the USA if the bill succeeds in Congress. Online gambling will be banned – even in those states where it has already been legalized. The exceptions will be few and include fantasy sports, sports betting and horse racing.

I never thought that there was a way to cheat at video poker and I certainly never imagined that it would take a court of law to prove it. But recent developments have proven me wrong and I can now appreciate what happened to me and my wife several years ago in Laughlin Nevada.

That’s when, after getting ‘black balled’ from the River Palms Casino, we played our way into The Edgewater Casino. It was before they removed all of the full pay video poker machines so we generally did very well. Of course we are advantage players so once in a while the stars would align and we would have exceptionally good sessions. On one occasion we just couldn’t do any wrong while playing NSUD (Not So Ugly Deuces) at the 50 cent level.

Multi-state Keno Coming to Ohio, Georgia, Maryland & Michigan

Ohio, along with three other states – Georgia, Maryland and Michigan – are planning on offering a multi-state Keno (progressive) game sometime in 2015, Ohio Lottery officials announced.

Multi-state Keno Proposals were requested in November as officials were in search of a company to manage the game. As of this report three different multi-state Keno vendors are slated to give presentations at the end of January , according to an informed source.
