It happened at the California Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. She was one lucky Hawaiian as she struck two huge jackpots within minutes of each other, playing video poker.
The woman was playing double-double video poker when she struck a $10,000 jackpot, then a second video poker jackpot for $20,000 a few minutes later.
In the same hour, she won a total of $30,000 in the jackpot.
“Who says you can’t win back to back?” Vacations Hawaii’s Kevin Kaneshiro asked.
In February, another Hawai’i resident won a more than $275,000 progressive prize at Boyd Gaming’s Fremont Hotel and Casino while playing IGT’s Wheel of Fortune® slots.
On Jan. 21, 2022, another lucky guest from Hawai’i won a more than $1.1 million jackpot after playing a $5 spin on a Wheel of Fortune® Super Times Pay 2x 3x 4x 5x slot machine at Fremont Hotel & Casino.
