Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $60 Million Ahead of Tonight’s Drawing
The Mega Millions jackpot has climbed to $60 million (with a cash value of $27.1 million) as excitement builds for tonight’s drawing. This rollover follows closely after a fortunate player claimed a massive half-billion-dollar prize in the game earlier this month.
Lucky Florida Player Scores $10 Million
Last Friday’s Mega Millions drawing failed to produce a jackpot winner, as no ticket matched all six numbers. The $50 million top prize therefore rolled over.
For reference, the winning numbers from the March 13 drawing were 6, 19, 36, 40, 55, with the gold Mega Ball 9. Matching all six would have delivered $50 million (or about $22.9 million in the lump-sum cash option).
While the grand prize went unclaimed, several players came close and secured impressive secondary prizes:
- Five tickets matched all five white balls (missing only the Mega Ball). One lucky holder in Pennsylvania won $2 million, while a player in Florida hit the same match but scored $10 million thanks to the 10X Megaplier multiplier.
- Eight additional players matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball, earning prizes boosted by their multipliers: four won $20,000 each (2X), two took $30,000 each (3X), one claimed $50,000 (5X), and another secured $100,000 (10X).
The jackpot now stands at $60 million ahead of tonight’s draw.
Big Wins in Massachusetts
In separate lottery news from Massachusetts, one fortunate player recently claimed the largest prize awarded by the Massachusetts Lottery so far in 2026: a $25 million top prize from the $25,000,000 Mega Money scratch ticket game.
The winning ticket was sold at the Cumberland Farms location in Turners Falls (a village in Montague), though the winner’s identity remains private.
Massachusetts saw even more good fortune, as two other players each won $1 million in separate prizes.
