Yaamava’ Resort & Casino Hands $1.5M Jackpot to Riverside Player

July 18, 2024 By The Mystic Gambler Leave a Comment

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, a tribal gambling property in San Manuel, announced that it has handed a $1.5 million jackpot to a lucky visitor. The historic jackpot was hit on July 4, presenting the player with an amazing Independence Day gift.

The guest, according to the casino, won $1,517,211 playing the Fortune Pai Gow game. A resident of Riverside, the player had placed a $25 bet alongside a $5 progressive wager, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino added. The winning hand saw the lucky casino visitor pull out a seven-card straight flush. His $5 progressive wager was responsible for the huge bonus payout, the tribal casino noted.

Kenji Hall, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino’s general manager, commented on the huge jackpot, praising the customer for their win. He said that Yaamava’ felt honored to turn another lucky Club Serrano player’s life around by making them a millionaire.

Hall emphasized the casino’s delight in being able to share such moments with its guests.

It is truly amazing to be part of some of the most extraordinary moments with our guests. Yaamava’ is the place to be for one-of-a-kind entertainment and gaming experiences AND the chance to win BIG!

Kenji Hall, general manager, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino

Yaamava’, however, noted that this was not its only significant jackpot for 2024. The gambling property pointed out that, earlier this year, another Club Serrano member won a $1.3 million jackpot on Blazing Sevens Blackjack.

The significant payouts demonstrate the tribal casino’s potential to change people’s lives. Boasting a whopping 7,200 slot machines and some 150 table games to choose from, Yaamava’ offers guests multiple opportunities to enjoy their stay and win big.

More US Players Win Big

Speaking of huge payouts, an Encore Las Vegas gambler just scooped up a $1,935,806.31 prize. The player was enjoying Buffalo Power Pay, an American wildlife-themed title developed by Aristocrat Gaming.

The winner, who remained unidentified in the official press release, won the jackpot on a $60 wager, Wynn Resorts reported.

Earlier this year, another lucky player won a significant jackpot playing an American wildlife-themed game. That jackpot was secured by a Borgata Online player who won $417,404 on a $18 wager playing Bison Fury. This, however, was not the player’s first win as, a few months prior, he had won a $1 million jackpot playing the same game.

July 11, 2024 By The Mystic Gambler Leave a Comment

Early in June, an incredibly lucky lottery player from Illinois hit the grand prize from Mega Millions. The jackpot at the time was the mind-blowing $552 million and was won by a single ticket that matched all winning numbers from the draw on June 4.

More than a month later, the grand prize from Mega Millions continues to grow and it is expected to surpass $200 million for the upcoming drawing.

The next Mega Millions drawing is planned for Friday, July 12. After surviving on Tuesday, the jackpot is estimated at $203 million. The cash option, or a lump sum the winner can collect instantly if they win the jackpot, is estimated at a staggering $94.9 million.

The latest drawing of the popular game was held on Tuesday and saw winning numbers 21, 26, 54, 60, 64 and Gold Mega Ball 3. Regretfully, nobody was able to guess correctly all of the winning numbers from the latest draw.

Second-Tier Prizes Won in Three US States

On the bright side, three lucky winners secured a second-tier prize by guessing correctly the five winning numbers except for the Gold Mega ball number.

Matching five of the winning numbers granted the lucky lottery prayers a prize of $1 million each. Mega Millions confirmed that there was one winner in Washington, Ohio and California. While three lucky players won $1 million, nobody secured a Megaplier Prize which was $3 million in the latest drawing.

Another eight lucky Mega Millions players took home $10,000 each by matching four white balls along with the Gold Mega Ball from the draw on Tuesday. Similarly to the million-dollar tier, nobody secured a $30,000 Megaplier prize.

Some 301 players matched five winning numbers to secure a win of $500 each. On the other hand, another 66 players won a $1,500 Megaplier prize each.

As it is usual, the biggest number of lottery players secured a prize from the lowest tier. Some 388,188 players across the US won $2 each, while 86,593 collected a $6 prize each.

The overall odds of winning a prize from Mega Millions are 1 in 24. Drawings of the popular game take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 PM ET.

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh Wraps Up Renovation in Time for Its Anniversary

July 5, 2024 By The Mystic Gambler Leave a Comment

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh has completed its refurbishment just in time for its 15th anniversary. The renovations cost Rush Street Gaming, the property’s owner, some $6.6 million and are are line with the company’s desire to cement the Pennsylvanian casino resort as a leading destination for tourism and gaming.

The investment was primarily focused on improving the property’s event capabilities. As a result, much of the money was allocated toward an expansion of the resort’s ballrooms.

Rivers Casino Adds a New Ballroom and Meeting Rooms

The refreshment of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh included the creation of a new events room called the Bridges Ballroom. Spanning some 7,044 square feet, the new facility overlooks the Ohio River, providing guests with a pleasant and romantic atmosphere.

In addition, the Bridges Ballroom features both indoor and outdoor space, as well as a balcony over the river and a beautiful view of the riverfront, Mount Washington and, as the facility’s name suggests, the iconic Fort Pitt and West End bridges.

Bridges, according to the property, can also be temporarily separated into three smaller rentable spaces. These include the 1,844-square-foot West End Room, the 1,164-square-foot Fort Duquesne Room and the 4,036-square-foot Fort Pitt Room.

In addition to the Bridges Ballroom, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh has also added four new private meeting rooms. These include the 1,140-square-foot Clemente Room, the 472-square-foot Warhol Room, the 470-square-foot Carson Room and a 348-square-foot executive boardroom.

The new facilities can be rented separately, combined or as pre-function areas for events taking place in the Bridges Ballroom.

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh Continues to Improve Its Offering

Rivers Casino Pittsburgh noted that the location of the Bridges Ballroom is a strategic one, considering its proximity to The Event Center and Rivers Ballroom. The former of these two facilities opened in 2019, offering a vast 25,000-square-foot grand hall. Since its opening The Event Center has cemented itself as a favorite for expositions and ticketed shows in Western Pennsylvania.

The Rivers Ballroom, meanwhile, and was also refurbished. Opened in 2011, the facility boasts a 7,873-square-foot inaugural banquet space which has now been “refreshed and reappointed.” Now sporting all-new carpets and finishings, the Rivers Ballroom is ready to welcome guests.

The renovations started in the autumn of 2023 when the casino resort also added a full-service Starbucks Coffee next to its arrival elevators. At the end of 2023, the property also added a dedicated lounge for Rush Rewards Players Club members who achieve the highest-tier status.

BetRivers launches Evolution casino live dealer games in Delaware

July 4, 2024 By The Mystic Gambler Leave a Comment

Since striking a partnership with the Delaware Lottery in 2023, BetRivers has been able to grow its offer locally, drive revenue, and make its product known and available to players with a soft spot for betting and gaming.

BetRivers strengthens iGaming offer in Delaware

Now, BetRivers is bringing even more worthwhile products to its shopping windows with the company confirming a new partnership with Evolution, a live dealer studio, which will see numerous of the latter’s games featured on BetRivers.

The partnership builds upon the already existing relationship between the two companies, which saw Evolution originally introduce its slot content through brands such as NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Big Time Gaming, all of which operate under the company’s umbrella and have been acquired at various points in the past several years.

Now, though, BetRivers is getting a taste of the company’s flagship products, the live casino titles, among which are Live Roulette, Infinite Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Poker, and Blackjack.

Commenting on this opportunity, Rush Street Interactive CEO Richard Schwartz has welcomed the opportunity to see the brand grow its iGaming offer in Delaware through this tie-up with Evolution:

BetRivers in Delaware is thrilled to offer players the chance to virtually play on Evolution’s world-renowned live tables. We are confident that the live dealer online casino will be very popular as the live dealer games offer the same level of excitement as playing in a land-based casino.

This deal further demonstrates BetRivers unflagging commitment towards the iGaming and sports betting market in Delaware and helps establish the company’s dominant position.

Presently, BetRivers is the sole entity that operates sports betting and online casino products in the First State for anyone who is of the legal gambling age of 21. The company succeeded 888 Holdings’ B2C operations locally, as the latter decided to wind down its business-to-consumer business in the United States.

In the meantime, BetRivers is also not to worry about incoming competition in the sports betting vertical. Although lawmakers attempted to liberalize the market and expand on the existing sports betting framework in 2024 by breaking BetRivers’ exclusivity rights over the market, those efforts have stalled.

BetRivers to enjoy another year of uncontested sports betting preeminence

House Bill 365 was filed in April by Rep. Franklin Cooke and Rep. William Bush, and the draft legislation sought to introduce five more sportsbooks that would have created a more level playfield and competition between private companies.

According to Cooke, this move was necessary because of market forces and specifically mounting consumer demand for alternatives. Essentially, Cooke believes that a more competitive landscape would positively impact consumers who would have access to a more diverse range of odds.

Yet, for any criticism against BetRivers, the company actually negotiated the launch of online sports gambling in the state with the Delaware Lottery, making it possible for residents to access sports betting markets anywhere in the state and on the go.

Mega Millions Jackpot Survives, Grows Beyond $160M for Friday

July 3, 2024 By The Mystic Gambler Leave a Comment

Across the United States, lottery players tried their luck for the Mega Millions jackpot from the drawing on Tuesday. Advertised at $137 million or a cash option of $63 million, the jackpot was able to survive the latest drawing.

Regretfully, nobody was able to guess correctly all winning numbers 4, 8, 19, 31, 45 and the gold Mega Ball 11 from Tuesday’s drawing. On the bright side, two players, one from Texas and one from California, matched the five winning white numbers to secure a second-tier prize of $1 million. While two lucky lottery players collected $1 million each, nobody secured a $4 million Megaplier prize from the latest drawing.

As usual, there were more players who collected prizes within the lower tiers. A total of 18 players took home $10,000 each, while seven lucky gamblers won a $40,000 Megaplier prize each for guessing correctly four white numbers and the gold Mega ball on Tuesday.

On the other hand, 440 lottery players who matched four winning numbers on Tuesday won $500 each. Another 112 lucky lottery players who also matched four winning numbers secured a $2,000 Megaplier prize each.

Within the lower prize tiers, nearly 700,000 lottery players secured prizes between $800 and $2. The highest number of lottery players, close to 353,000, guessed only the gold Mega ball, securing a $2 prize each.

Upcoming Jackpot Estimated at $162 Million

Surviving the drawing on Tuesday, the jackpot from Mega Millions now continues to grow. The next draw of the popular lottery game is scheduled for Friday, July 7, 2024.

The grand prize from the popular lottery game is estimated at a mind-blowing $162 million. A cash option is also available which would shrink the jackpot to $74.5 million. While the sum is far from the astronomical $162 million, it would still completely change the life of anyone who wins it.

The price per Mega Millions play is $2. The game’s drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM ET.

On every draw, the overall chances of securing a prize are the same, 1 in 24. However, the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are roughly 1 in 302.6 million.
