Nearly $2 Million in Unclaimed Prizes About to Expire
Time is running out for several lucky players in Pennsylvania! The Pennsylvania Lottery has issued an urgent public reminder for players to double-check their old tickets, as nearly $2,000,000 in unclaimed jackpots is set to expire before the end of the year.
Under Pennsylvania state law, players have exactly one year from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings. Any prizes left unclaimed after the 365-day mark are automatically forfeited and transferred to the state fund supporting programs for older Pennsylvanians.
